December Moon

I took this back in December during the full moon. I am really enjoying getting to know the new camera.

The only editing I did was a crop.

First Photos with the New Camera

It was a tough decision, but I decided to sell my Canon XTi SLR camera. It was awesome, but I just don’t have the time to learn all the advanced features. Here are a few shots from the replacement.

It’s been a cold and rainy day, so I only took a couple.

Under Construction

Literally! They just finished a new parking deck at Kennesaw State, and I drove to the top to take a few photos. They are now building a new dining hall and health services building. They expect to have them done next fall.

Afternoon Hayfield Shots

I’ve always loved this field, which is located on Highway41 right on the Bartow/Gordon line. Today the light was good and the sky was great.

Photographic Evidence – Golf Ball-sized Hail!

At around six o’clock today it started to sound like someone was throwing rocks at the house. I looked outside and saw hailstones crushing everything in sight. I decided to take a prisoner.

Note: Actual golf balls were not falling from the sky. Just hail.

I have a friend that took me over to Barnsley Gardens this weekend. What a gorgeous place! I took lots of pictures, but this one was my favorite.
